Christianity, Catholicism, and all forms of Abrahamic religions colonized the minds and spirituality of this entire world.
Took our connection to the unseen and gave us a middle man in the form of priests, etc.
Took our wild, and tried to cut its edges off and call it enlightenment.
And now I’m watching it sneak into the backdoor of modern new age spirituality while it tries to call itself something different.
It’s always a new name.
But the game is always the same.
The light and dark are still placed in hierarchies.
Just like we tried endlessly to cleanse ourselves within the church,
they call it sin, we now call it low vibe.
Just like we tried to endlessly climb the stairs to heaven,
now we call it “ascending to 5D”
You can go ahead and endlessly scrub yourself clean.
I’m fine being gnarled, feral, and knee deep in aching and attachment and need.
I used to be really deep in the spiritual community, and as I got older and wiser, I saw it for what is is.
A New Version Of The Old Church.
A new version of the old enemy.
An extension of everything we have been robbed of, a new oppressor, in a new costume.
