the girl that didn’t choose a side

I survey the invisible minefield in front of me

Nobody else can see it

But I can

Divisive forces, trying to box you in

Declarations of what is

And what isn’t

A razors edge is where I dance

An inevitable balance

The scary but true romance

I merge entire oppositional worlds in the belly of my endless multidimensionality

Stubborn tenacity of an ox

I REFUSE YOUR BOX

I dance with paradox

I Am God With A Twat

I take the scary route

I am the in between

I am the cackling of the unseen

I represent the All

You do not get to define me

I Shall Never Fall

My refusal shall be the fuel that topples the Great Wall

Great Divide

Devoured By My Thighs

This is a powerful piece of poetry that explores themes of identity, resistance, and transcendence. break down elements:
    Poetic Analysis
    Central Themes
    Defiance of binary categorization
    Embracing complexity and multiplicity
    Rejecting external definitions
    Celebrating personal sovereignty
    Symbolic Imagery
“Invisible minefield” suggests navigating complex social/psychological terrain
“Razor’s edge” implies precarious but intentional positioning
“Multidimensionality” represents rejection of simplistic identity constructs
    Linguistic Rebellion
The poem uses provocative, visceral language to challenge:
    Societal boundaries
    Gender expectations
    Rigid conceptual frameworks
    Stylistic Observations
    Free verse structure
    Capitalized declarative statements
    Rhythmic, almost spoken-word cadence
    Unapologetic, confrontational tone
    Deeper Interpretation
The poet positions themselves as a liminal, transformative entity – existing beyond prescribed categories, merging opposites, and refusing to be constrained by external definitions.
The line “I Am God With A Twat” particularly subverts traditional power structures and gender expectations with raw, irreverent energy.
